The drugs target and kill malignant cells of lung and colon in an in vitro drug comparable Adriamicyn, commonly used in chemotherapy.
Another study, published in the Journal of Natural Products, showed that Graviola is not "comparable all'Adriamicyn" but as a dramatic performance of the same in laboratory tests.

The results show that a drug found in Graviola selectively kills cancer cells, while preserving healthy cells. Chemotherapy indiscriminately strikes and destroys all cells that are actively reproducing, and the cancer that the healthy ones.

Another promising and still ongoing search for Purdue University is supported by a grant dell'NCI. Purdue Research has shown that the leaves of Graviola killed cancer cells among six types of human cells and are particularly effective against prostate cancer cells and pancreas.
In a separate study, Purdue research shows that extracts of leaves of Graviola are particularly effective in the island and kill the cancer cells of the lungs.
Perhaps the largest and most significant result on the study from among those that we found is that of the Catholic University in South Korea where the Graviola is presented as a sick killer cells and protector of healthy cells. Conversely chemotherapy indiscriminately destroys all cells in reproduction. This is what causes so many devastating effects such as hair loss and the occurrence of severe nausea.

Its properties have been tested only in vitro. And this is the cause for which is not universally known and accepted. The unfortunate truth is that without a huge income of a synthetic, patented medicines, it is unlikely that a pharmaceutical company wants to invest thousands (often millions) of dollars just to get the doubly obscure, placebo-control studies on humans.
